As Quality Lead for the Wargaming Sydney studio, I am responsible for setting overall quality strategy, ensuring its execution and the overall development team’s product quality. Other expectations include, ensuring teams are continously improving at delivering quality, improving quality specialist team members’ adaptive performance, direct coaching of quality specialists, promoting inter-team communication and skill transfer, and collaboration with remote studios relating to product delivery and management of test resources.

Responsible for a large variety of duties including release management, coaching programmers to perform all testing tasks in the software testing life-cycle, providing mentorship to quality specialists, managing test equipment and resources, test automation and developing our in-house test framework.

  • Successfully completed implementation of Quality Assistance software development practice, providing valuable information about viability within the company.
  • Performed Release Management for various Wargaming Sydney products, including World of Tanks, World of Tanks: Blitz, World of Warships and BigWorld Engine.
  • Drove transformational change to Shift-left, agile testing within the Server Group as head of Wargaming Sydney Quality Community.
  • On-site co-development with external international customers, providing deep technical knowledge of BigWorld Server software.
